Traqmate Suddenly Not Working.

Used it roughly a month ago, pulled it out, had a cage put in the car. Putting it back in for an event this weekend. Hardwired it up, power it up, says traqmate, the versions, and i'm the owner, then dies. hmph, screen just fades away. Try again, same thing. I get to where if i'm fast, i can start t...

it would be handy, but by simply sectioning off the track, you'll achieve the same info. (ie: losing a tenth in this session, gaining 2 tenths on the straight, etc.)

Thats the path i've taken, and it's worked extremely well for me.

As i've used my WOT lead, and it's voltage, but you can see the position. Just tap it near the ecu for modern cards.

This is how lap timing works on Traqmate. When in the car, the Display Unit marks the Start/Finish and uses an algorithm to calculate the lap times. These times are shown on the DU and can be reviewed later. They are not the times shown in Traqview. Traqview takes the S/F from the DU but not the la...

in reference to sebring, i had some odd things happen saturday there. I set the start finish to the normal start finish, and the laps counted off as i went, some pretty good laps for the first sessions, i get in to download them, and i have 3-4 sessions, but they're all one big lap. While it told me...

i gotcha, but when you go into the track stuff, you can manually set the latitude/long and direction. Just trying to pull that out of my existing ones (since they obviously have the start/finish point marked in my logs) , and add in your settings for the main course at sebring, get what i mean? i co...

Re-update start finish?

I did the upgrade, and lost my spots, but i have track sessions from the tracks. How can i get the manual long/lat outta them to add them? Also, you guys were at sebring, my start/finish was on the back, due to running the club course. What was your lat/long for the start/finish on the front straigh...

I take it theres some kind of calibration in the unit for analog items?

How does that all work, do you program through the display, or the sensor unit?

thanks.

well, i thought that might be the issue, but at homestead-miami yesterday, it worked flawlessly to the best of my knowledge. It even started the runs while in the pit lane on the way out, so i got a little bit of data from the second half of the warm up lap, etc, which was pretty cool. Dunno why tho...

Re: Start Finish

At Sebring I found that I needed to be at "full speed" to set the start finish. I tried to set it on the pace lap two different times (even though I was driving a straight line across start finish) and the system would not give good lap times in the car. Once I set it on a flying lap it worked fine...
