TraqdataII tach, Porsche 968 - MSD Blaster Coil?

Postby pmason » Fri Jul 08, 2011 6:36 pm

Confused by the installation notes and forum posts, can I or can't I tap off the coil. I believe the coil is a MSD Blaster Coil (came with the car), now there is already a Auto Meter shift light hooked up to it, I just wanted to tap into that wire.
Just don't want to damage the TraqdataII box, states something about a switch but don't see one.

Update:
Looks to be working, opened the TraqData II and found the switch to Coil. Hooked it up to the negative side of the coil and see a reading on the input view screen of the TraqMate.
