HERO3 - Video Supported - not controllable via the Traqmate.

HD HERO3 Not currently supported with our sync products.

However you can use a HERO3's video with TraqStudio software without issue. You just need to manually sync the video/data.

We are not currently working on a sync product for the HERO3. The interface bus has changed and it would require us to reverse engineer the wifi setup and we do not have access to that information from GoPro.

How easy is it to sync the video/data?

Is this true about the Hero3 white?
I've seen that other manufactures with similar products to the Traqmate that use the hero or hero2 can use the hero3 white interface.
Has anyone tried this?

We did try it, it sort of works. The camera starts fine but we didn't get any status from it and if I recall it wouldn't stop on command. You can certainly try it if you'd like. Internally the white is a hero2

The video and data are pretty easy to manually sync. Just select 'all laps' and find the start/finish on the first lap and do the same in the video using the controls on the video window. Takes less than 5mins.

We get a lot of spam so we have to monitor the post, that is the reason you were unable to post.

Thanks
