Powering GoPro Camera

Postby DCP » Mon Nov 04, 2013 5:52 pm

I am planning an installation and want to make sure I have everything that I need.

I have your GoPro module and cable. Does this power a Hero2, or do I need to plan a separate solution for power?

Thanks in advance.

It does not power the GoPro, you can use the GoPro USB to power the device but you may want to have it permanently powered and run it without the battery (reduces heat). We have had intermittent good luck with that, but we recommend just using the battery.
